Northwoods Radio Presents Operation Mugs and Hugs
Duluth/Superior will be hosing their 2nd annual Mugs and Hugs at Benna Ford Superior on May 6th, 2017. Savers by Miller Hill Mall on May 13th, 2017 and again Tuesday June 6th at Wade Stadium in West Duluth. These evens are hosted by Northwood's Radio with DJ "Jiffy Jeff" and his lost oldies show along with help from several local organizations and partners. The Masonic lodges in Duluth/Superior will be handing out free DNA Kids to local parents and children to use in case a child should ever go missing. Each participant will also receive a souvenir mug and a free root beer float.
Women Rock 2015
We did not attend Women Rock this year, but did present them with a check!
Here are five of our team members presenting a $500 check to Bonnie Nimmo from Women Rock! Over the last five years, La Peinado has donated several thousands of dollars to the fight against breast cancer.

Scruples National Educator, Mark Steine, recently brought the latest in Powder Blond Toners, Color Placement Techniques plus Fresh Styling Tips for spring and summer. The hands on work shop is just another step in the on going educational program La Peinado provides for it's staff.

Gary from Italy Hairfashion New York recently held a hands on seminar to show us the newest color techniques for spring and summer. This is part of the "on going educational program" provided for the staff at La Peinado Salon & Day Spa.
Other recent classes included "Sugar It" hair removal, a Skin Cancer Awareness Seminar, and updates on new products from Redken and Kenra.
Women Rock 2014
We won 2nd place in raising money for St. Luke's Breast Center for the 4th time in 5 years! We won 1st place once as well!
The girls put in pink hair extensions for the event.
All proceeds went to the Rock Pledge.
